Competitive Cheerleading Programs

Next season begins August 14th 2019

Special Note:  Prior to looking further into our programs we ask that you please be aware of the importance of attendance in the sport of cheer. Cheerleading is, at its core, a team sport. There are no back-ups, second stringers or benchwarmers ever. When an athlete misses, it affects not only the other athletes in the stunt group, but the entire team. An absent athlete disables the pyramid, formations and tumbling sequences. It is very important that parents and athletes understand the importance of attending all practices.

About our competitive
programs

The sport of competitive cheerleading is very complex. Teams will be built by grouping skill levels and experiences as well as taking into consideration the age of each athlete. If your child has any experience in dance, gymnastics or cheerleading and they are interested in trying out for our competitive teams, we strongly encourage them to do so. Our competitive teams are always made up of a variety of athletes with varying skills and that truly is what makes this sport so much fun! With every new athlete, comes an opportunity for different skills to be executed. Our competitive season will begin in September and end one week after the last competition.

The tryouts will evaluate individual skills each athlete has, as well as also watching how the athletes work within a team setting. Cheerleading is all about team work! We will be watching closely at tryouts to see which athletes compliment each other in terms of teamwork meanwhile grouping girls together will similar skill sets.
